We created a family-friendly, colourful and educational march through the streets of London bringing awareness for all cetaceans in captivity. Standing in solidarity with Dolphin Project who targeted TUI in Copenhagen, we focussed on Thomas Cook who continues to sell tickets to outdated and exploitative dolphinariums worldwide.
As Helene O’Barry states “Travel agencies play a huge role in making the capture and confinement of dolphins so profitable. We´ll keep exposing it until they finally put compassion over profits and stop promoting dolphin shows.”
March Route: Islington Green to Thomas Cook Head Office.

Swimming with dolphins is increasing in popularity. Unfortunately, most participants are unaware of the problems surrounding them, and the negative impact on the animals involved.
”I had such a good day yesterday. Well done and thank you to the organisers. I think all the negative publicity must've really been bad for Thomas Cook and no doubt now Thomas Cook are having to make apologies today to the corporate neighbours they share the office block with. All their neighbours were probably most annoyed they were being tied to the negative publicity. Its damaging. All of this combined and focused helps apply continued pressure onto Thomas Cook.

”The photos are amazing. Wonderful, committed people Thank you Jo, thank you so much for all that you do in arranging these protests and giving all of us the chance to show how we feel about the captive industry and letting Thomas Cook know that we are having none of it.

”Thank you for all your hard work organising this. If we made one person realise how wrong it is to swim with dolphins and go to dolphinariums, it was a job well done
