The beginning of my creative process involves an initial text prompt in Midjourney, where I articulate my ideas through descriptive writing that outlines the subject matter, which is rich and detailed, focusing on aspects like colours, ambience, background, and textures.

After generating a series of AI variations and remixes, I select the images that resonate with me, choosing the most compelling images to reprocess with –sref and chaos parameters. This step is crucial for enhancing my design aesthetic and is where the true magic occurs; never settling for the first outcome, it is essential to push boundaries, refine, and iterate continuously; you will be amazed at the unexpected directions this can take you and the inspiration it can ignite.

By alternating between Niji and V6 (6.1), I can discover images that motivate me to delve deeper. Older versions tend to lack the polish of the latest versions, but they can produce fascinating, surrealistic, abstract visuals and AI imperfections, which I like to embrace. My work also involves creating one-of-a-kind patterns and textures, which have become part of my extensive library of resources—hundreds if not thousands—that serve as part of my creative toolkit.

As AI technology continues to evolve, we are using this powerful tool to document our lives, share important messages, and explore the complexities of being human—our behaviours, actions, and experiences.
Does it feel unusual to turn to a machine for such personal storytelling? Will it give everyone a voice and democratize ‘art’? These are questions each person must consider.

In my own experience, I have seen how AI has empowered many to create beautiful art, evoke emotions, and engage in therapeutic practices that allow for self-expression. The choice of how we harness this technology lies in our hands. We must channel it positively, inspire others and drive meaningful change as we challenge societal norms in our quest for freedom and equality for all.

My final piece of advice is to cultivate your curiosity. Dare to experiment and break away from conventional styles. Keep expanding your knowledge and engage with the world around you. Use your unique life experiences as inspiration for your creations. Remember to be authentic, stay true to yourself and enjoy every moment of your creative journey.
