PRESS RELEASE: Exhibition “The Path of Art in the Generative Era” at E2ARTD Molino Harinero.
The Alcañiz City Council is hosting the group exhibition “The Path of Art in the Generative Era,” a project linked to creAtIva Vol. 9 — ART: it is argument, at the E2ArtD Exhibition Space in the Molino Harinero (Flour Mill). The exhibition brings to the physical space a selection of projects from the ninth volume of creAtIva | AI Art Book, an international publication dedicated to the research, dissemination, and curating of generative digital art and creation with artificial intelligence.
Under the editorial concept ART: it is argument, Vol. 9 presents art as a form of visual thought: an image is not only contemplated, but also takes a position, poses a question, and opens a field of discussion.
In this context, “The Path of Art in the Generative Era” proposes a journey through different ways of understanding the contemporary image when it arises from the dialogue between human sensitivity, algorithmic tools, and new processes of visual production. The exhibition presents not only static images, but also videos created from the original images that each artist submitted for their project, thus expanding the interpretation of each work. The image unfolds in time, acquiring rhythm, sequence, and presence. The exhibition can be visited from July 25 to October 31, 2026, at the E2ArtD Gallery in the Molino Harinero (Flour Mill), located at Calle Muro de Santa María, 1, Alcañiz.
