A cause close to my heart, Ric O’Barry’s Dolphin Project. Here Ric O’Barry is leading a march through the streets of central London to raise awareness about the slaughter and capture of dolphins in Taiji, Japan
”This image really delivers on all levels of how I wanted “a cause” to be highlighted. The filter used was so effective. Every part of the image is raw with emotion. I love how the picture was taken from the front. Not the easiest shot to get, but feels absolutely necessary. As if the people are looking right at you wanting you to take up the cause with them. They display confidence and assurance that is very convincing. I also was impressed by the different signs displayed. There is a “blood” soaked tear running down the dolphins face in one poster. In another, there is a “blood” hand-drawn. It skillfully eludes to the conclusion that all those responsible have “blood on their hands.” Absolutely riveting! Congratulations on being my #1 J.A. Philips Well deserved!
