As the designer for Until Lolita is Home, I can say that we were incredibly proud to collaborate with the Grammy-nominated band Locos Por Juana! On December 15, 2022, at the Miami Band Shell, Tokitae’s name rang out loudly and directly to an audience of 1,500 people!
Until Lolita is Home’s T-shirts spread an important message: there is no beauty in stolen freedom, and our leaflets that tell Toki’s story were distributed amongst the audience. People gathered to have their photographs taken alongside Miami’s top artists, Itawe and Ariel’s artwork of Tokitae.
Such a proud and magical moment!
