Wood Backgrounds – Grunge Grain
This set includes 15 wood textured backgrounds for your design projects. Use them however you like to give your projects a professional look and feel.
The folder also contains a handy psd file with three different lighting effects. One will darken the edges of your background. The others will create highlights on the top and middle of your page. You can also experiment by moving the lighting effects around the layout to light different areas. This is especially useful when creating web backgrounds.
Although I have included 15 pre-made jpgs, you can easily create your own colours by adjusting the hue and saturation in the included psd file. You can also mix and match the wood texture layers to create different wood effects. Experiment with your blending modes for even more variations!
These wonderful grunge wood backgrounds are atmospheric, decayed and distressed. With wood grains, scratches and knots.
